Chris Berman and The Twang Gang 6/2

Join us in support of the BFLO Hall of Fame Experience with Chris Berman and the Twang Gang for a night of music, laughs and fun as we raise funds and awareness for the BFLO Hall of Fame Experience initiative. ESPN and sportscasting legend Chris Berman will join local Hall of Fame notables from the worlds of sports, music and broadcasting to sing on stage with the Twang Gang throughout the evening. The Twang Gang is a group of Buffalo Music Hall of Fame members, who get together every Tuesday evening from 6:00-9:00 at The Sportsmen’s Tavern in Buffalo, NY. Their sole purpose is to jam and have fun, getting people from the audience up to sing or play with them...kind of like karaoke on steroids and they are bringing this to the Town Ballroom for one night with Chris Berman leading the way.

Chris has been known to sing with many bands including his very good friend Huey Lewis and is a longtime friend of Bob Seger and Glenn Frey and has sung many of their songs. Berman will also lead the presentation of the next member of the BFLO Fan Wall of Fame inductee. With the support of Dwane Hall and the Sportsmen Tavern, the event will prove to be an unforgettable evening of surprises and never to be repeated musical performances.

2018 Fundraiser Event Recap

"With Chris Berman’s help, the organizers of an innovative idea are hoping the BFLO Experience “could go all the way.” All the way to being a reality in Buffalo, and a place to showcase the city’s legends in sports, music and broadcasting.

The ESPN sportscaster and Buffalo booster was in town on Tuesday at a luncheon promoting the drive to build an interactive showpiece combining the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame, the Buffalo Broadcasters Association and the Buffalo Music Hall of Fame.  It would be built at a location to be determined, and feature permanent and temporary exhibits along with a formal place for each group’s Hall of Fame.

Berman’s appearance raised money and awareness for the project, which has been in the works for some time."
